Democracy, if you give more than lip service to it is a fluid exploration of the human experience. As such as citizens, as parents we should be open to any program or initiative that creates a better chance for prosperity for our children. High standards for students and teachers is not an infringement on freedom, it is a striving to be the very best that we can be. Is that something we should be afraid of?
