- Election Reform through soft money regulation, donation caps, political party funding limits ultimately leading to public funding of elections.
- Creation of a series of L.E.E.D. Certified Bio-Campus and Conference Centers on managed land that partners economic opportunity, education and conservation in a reciprocal relationship. Educational, Sustainable, Entrepreneurial! Combining TEACH^UP (see tab) in an education without walls environment thus allowing kids to compete at the highest of levels. Isn’t the future worth more than $6000.00 per student?
- A New Promontory: High Speed Rail that links the State of Utah from St. George to Logan and beyond: Let’s pioneer the clean bridge connecting past with the future by becoming the hub of the Mountain West! Local Economies-Local Solutions! Magnetic Levitation, Regenerative Braking Technology. Why continue to pour money into a transportation system that is well past it’s prime?
- Real tax reform for small businesses and middle class Americans. Elimination of corporate payroll taxes for small businesses on the first $250,000.00 of payroll so that those companies can reinvest in their company and their community’s future. We bailed out the banks, now it’s time to bail out the middle class and the local small businesses who are the real builders of a sustainable and prosperous community.
- Eliminate all taxes on the first $40,000.00 earned by all citizens. Reforms could be offset by closing numerous tax loopholes; such as raising rates non-business capital gains, closing deductions for second homes, ending many corporate subsidies among others. Let’s put the money back in the hands of those most deserving, the middle class.
